Today’s Results – Saturday 23rd September
Our Firsts lost their first game this season 6 – 1 away to Maiden Newton & Cattistock with Milborne’s goal coming from an own goal.
It was better news for the Reserves who won 6-1 away to Manor Athletic. Manor took the lead against the run of play through a wonderful strike but Milborne Reserves responded well & got a wonder goal of their own through Joe Boon making the scores all level at the half.
Milborne took control early in the second half with goals from Brad Davison & a second for Joe Boon & a thunderbolt into the top corner from Mark Lawrence made it 4 – 1. Substitutes Harry Vandervell & Jack Bareham scored to make it 6 – 1 at full time to round off a fantastic performance!
Unfortunately, the A-Team came up against an unbeaten Evercreech side & lost 5-0.
