Co-op Community Local Good Causes Cheque Presentation

As you may know, this year we were accepted as one of the Co-op Community Local Good Causes. This meant that every time a Co-Op member shopped with the Co-op, a small amount was donated to their selected recipient.

Back in November, Co-Op held a presentation day for some of the local causes at their branch in Templecombe where club treasurer Janet Davis (second right) was joined by members of the youth teams to receive the club’s cheque for an amazing £3723.83! This money is a massive help to the club, especially as our usual fundraising has been greatly affected by the pandemic so a massive thank you to the Co-Op and their customers who have supported the club through the Co-op Community Local Good Causes scheme.
