This Week’s Results (13/9/21 to 19/9/21)

This week’s fixtures got underway with mid-week games on Wednesday for the Under 16’s, 15’s & 14’s.

The Under 16’s played at home and won 3 – 2 against Westland Sports Youth U16 Puma. The Under 15’s also won, beating Merriott Youth U15 Sharks 4 – 2 away from home. Unfortunately, it was lee positive for the Under 14’s who lost heavily away to East Coker Cockerels Youth U14 10 – 2.

The weekend’s fixtures saw the reserves losing their first home game of the season 5 – 0 against a strong Bisterne United Dorset side. The A team were away to Stoke Sub Hamdon Reserves, winning 4 – 2 with goals from Kieran Bungay (x2), Ed Pullen & Oliver Daniels keeping their unbeaten start to the season alive. Also this weekend, and in their first ever game, the Veterans played Forton Rangers Vets and won 3 – 2 with goals from Simon Fox, Robert Whitmarsh and a last minute winner from Duncan Beardsley. In the only game of the weekend for the youth sides, the Under 15’s beat Somerton Town Youth U15 9 – 3 at home.
