This Week’s Results (6/9/21 to 12/9/21)

This week’s matches started off on Wednesday with the A-Team travelling to play South Cheriton United Reserves where the match was unfortunately abandoned after 68 minutes due to poor light.

Then a busy weekend saw the A-Team back in action & at home for the first time this season, against Pen Mill Athletic Reserves. In a fantastic result, they won 9-0 being 4-0 up at half time! Four goals from Adam Sprake and two from Ed Pullen as well as goals from Scott Dixon, Bret Lewis & Jake Wilkie gave Ben Crossley’s side their first win of the season.  

Sunday saw the 2021/2022 seasons start for the U15 & U14 teams.

Jody Baunton’s Under 15’s & Dave Colohan’s Under 14’s both played at home against Ilchester Youth U15 Wildcats & West & Middle Chinnock Youth U14 Kings respectively. The Under 15’s won 3 – 1 & the Under 14’s lost 4 – 2.
